Pastoral Epistles is an academic biblioblog which focuses on the New Testament letters 1 Timothy, 2 Timothy, and Titus, commonly known as the Pastoral Epistles. It functions primarily to keep students of the letters apprised of recent research published on the letters. It was loosely associated with the Pastoral Epistles study group which was part of the Evangelical Theological Society, running from 2011-2021.

Ray Van Neste is Dean of the School of Theology and Missions, and Professor of Biblical Studies, at Union University (faculty page; Academia page). Among his many publications on the Pastoral Epistles is his monograph Cohesion and Structure in the Pastoral Epistles (JSNTSS 280; London: T&T Clark, 2004). He blogs at Oversight of Souls.

Chuck Bumgardner is a PhD graduate from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary (Academia page). His bibliographic interest in the Pastoral Epistles finds expression at this blog, and is reflected in “Paul’s Letters to Timothy and Titus: A Literature Review (2009-2015)” and other bibliographic efforts posted on Academia. He blogs at Orchard Keeper.
